Creator Note:
We're breaking the Wordless rule with this dual purpose post. The image was chosen and the Haiga was created in honor of a young friend of Cheesy's son, who lost his four year old son due to an anaphylactic reaction to a bee sting nearly a month ago today.
Some wounds never heal, and anyone who tells you that you should "get over" certain things is callous, ignorant, or both. With certain losses, the only thing we have found to be true is that you don't get over it, although given time you get used to it and the grief becomes less raw.
~Opal and Cheesy~

My sincere condolences to your friends. The image and words are beautiful together.
ReplyDeleteKind thanks. :-)
DeleteI am so very sorry for your loss - and your friends' loss.
ReplyDeleteThank you, on behalf of The Cheese. It was a sudden and tragic thing indeed. It is a thing no parent should ever have to endure.
Deletealoha Opal and Cie. the loss of a child has to be one of the most difficult losses a human being can experience. my thoughts go out to the families and friends of this child. you've said it well. some wounds may mend with time. others have nothing to do with time. well being to all of you. aloha. rick.
