Many of these prompts lately are reminding me of the year when I was in the fourth grade and I learned about Japan. I was a very shy and unpopular child with a terrible overbite, always chosen last for sports teams, and none of the boys wanted to dance with me at the school socials.
Like your personal take on this prompt.What passes for beauty on the screen eludes me. Humans are being brain washed to think ugly is beautiful.
ReplyDeleteI tend to prefer British television because there is a wider range of people, more like real life than American television, which is nothing but Pretty People With Petty Problems.
DeleteI think one thing that has happened is that Hotness has become the most desirable attribute. I once saw the statement that hotness will seek itself out and hotness does nothing beyond being hot. It isn't really very interesting in the long run.
I've never been attracted to anyone who falls into the conventionally "hot" category. I tend to be interested in people who have a unique character about them rather than who are conventionally attractive.
