OctPoWriMo 2018: Day 27: My Lafayette

I remember you

Your eyes were yellowish-green

You are gone three years

I love you always, Buddy

For you I will always weep

    1. Thank you.
He was a rescue from a feral colony. I expect they were all rather inbred. He always had a lot of health issues, but most of them seemed minor. I suppose his body wasn't made to live very long, but that doesn't help much.

    1. I do. But I am not ashamed to admit that there is still a gaping hole in my heart. I love all of my animal friends, but he was particularly special.

  4. My heart is sore because I know this pain and we miss them always. They are but loaned to us to teach us this thing called love.

    1. I'm afraid in my case life hasn't done much to teach me love, but rather sorrow. I hold myself away from bonding with anything because it always leads to sorrow.

We love comments, with three caveats.
Be cool, Fool.
Don't be rude, Dude.
Don't be a prick, Slick.
That's all, Saul.
I try to get comments published as quickly as possible. I don't always reply to comments on my blog, but I do try to visit as many people as possible when I participate in blog hops and I share links where possible to Twitter, Facebook, Pinterest, and such so others can discover your work. I do read and appreciate your comments.
