To My Father

To My Father

His name was Richard
He was a high school English teacher
He loved to work on cars
And motorcycles
He loved his wife and son and daughters

Its name is prostate cancer
It slowly stole away his life
Turning him into a shadow of his former self
But it never was able to take away
The love he had for his family

Or the love we have for him

~Wanda~

  7. Thank you all for your kind words regarding my little tribute to my dad. It really touches my heart. The holidays are hard for my family as Dad always made them such fun. They've never been the same without him.

We love comments, with three caveats.
Be cool, Fool.
Don't be rude, Dude.
Don't be a prick, Slick.
That's all, Saul.
I try to get comments published as quickly as possible. I don't always reply to comments on my blog, but I do try to visit as many people as possible when I participate in blog hops and I share links where possible to Twitter, Facebook, Pinterest, and such so others can discover your work. I do read and appreciate your comments.
