Like a sunflower
Grown too heavy for its stalk
My weary head droops

The only place where you can dream
Living here is not what it seems

We love comments, with three caveats.
Be cool, Fool.
Don't be rude, Dude.
Don't be a prick, Slick.
That's all, Saul.
I try to get comments published as quickly as possible. I don't always reply to comments on my blog, but I do try to visit as many people as possible when I participate in blog hops and I share links where possible to Twitter, Facebook, Pinterest, and such so others can discover your work. I do read and appreciate your comments.
lovely image conjured (but not the sentiment/actual feeling)
ReplyDeleteThank you.
DeleteThanks to endocrine problems, I've spent my life tired. And I developed one hell of a complex about always being accused of being lazy. It caused me to overwork myself to the point where I had a severe health crisis and couldn't work anymore.
There is a beautiful melancholy in your words. Have a blessed day :-)
ReplyDeleteThank you. You as well. :0)
DeleteI know the feeling!
ReplyDeleteI think all too many of us do. Chronic tiredness seems to be a problem even for people who don't have the boatload of endocrine issues that I do.
DeleteLove it. Reminds me of my new grandson's 1st birthday. His little head just drooping sideways as if too heavy.
ReplyDeleteAww. At that age, they just know it's time to sleep, and they do. They are wiser than we older folk.
