Midnight in the Garden of Insecurity

At midnight in the garden of insecurity
Alone with my troubled thoughts you'll find me
Grieving a yesterday that never transpired

A more melancholy garden you'll never see
A sorrowful figure crouching under a dead tree
Wondering why some of us are despised by time

Hiding my eyes from a future that seems uninspired
Not hoping for anything better along this weary line

Spellbound

Evil Sorceress by Anna Elizabeth

A Voodoo doll from the Louvre

Fetched v3 by The Real Cie

 Explanatory note follows the poem

Spellbound
(As told by Yadira Root)

Welcome to your nightmare, Poppet
Are the warbling ballads crooned into your shell-like ear
By the diminutive giant who has won your wanting heart
Worth the crushing, piercing pain

Pain visited upon you by a witch whose power
Was birthed in a furnace whose flames predate the forge of Hephaestus
A power far older than this miserable world
A power darker than the blackest depths of eternity

The disruptive snowfall which drifted this pathetic Fetch to your door
Can never soothe the baleful burns
Which I shall bestow upon your corpulent corpse
The memory of his kiss cannot distract you from pain of such magnitude

Don Juan he may not be
But he didn't have to be
To win the pathetic likes of you
All too easily

When I am done with you
He will be my eternal slave
His mind to serve my will despite his own
He is much more than his lowly exterior would suggest

And you I will keep my prisoner for eternity
Torturing the likes of you relieves my stress
You will plead with me to make each breath your last
Your cries will only gladden the dark heart

Notes:
The prompt from napowrimo.net was to create an index poem. Cie wasn't really feeling that. So in a burst of shameless self-promotion, we went to the very first page of the blog for Team Netherworld's WIP story, Fetch, and created this poem in the voice of our tale's main antagonist, Yadira Root.
Yadira is an ancient sorceress, born in the first century CE to the Egyptian Queen Nathicana and the powerful Spanish sorcerer Iohannes. She is a powerful devotee of Nyarlathotep, who himself taught her much of what she knows.
Yadira has targeted English musician Gerry Clifford, who is suffering from dementia, to become part of a powerful hive mind over which she will maintain control. During his astral travels, the terrified Gerry encountered American medium Pepper Baiij, who promised to keep him safe. Yadira's resentment of Pepper's interference in her plans makes Pepper a prime target for Yadira's sadistic spells.
We hope you enjoyed our very cheesy poem. If you would like to follow our progress on the actual story, visit us at the official blog for Fetch.

Dreams and nightmares of a life spent between worlds

Photoshop manipulation by The Real CIE

The rock and roll dream
Is in high voltage fadeout decay
The breakdown seems even more profound
During the cruelest month

Love lies bleeding like an open wound
In the moonlight shadow of the dying light
Compound carrion when the music's over
Deep cuts the knife into the flesh of the victim shackled in the bad girl's bracelets

I leave flowers for the lost on a grave buried by time and dust
I search for my heavenly treasure on a black planet
Just like the driftwood of a dream
I lie broken on the shores of time

Create a poem into which we weave the titles of three of our own poems. (I used more than three.)

Choose titles from the spines of your books to use in your poetry.
I am not home. I used songs from my playlist.

You are a flower
In the garden of Heaven
I treasure you so

I am using my tablet tonight. Sometimes it's hard to get the type set the way I like it with the tablet.
I am working 60 hour weeks the next 2 weeks. Anyone who dislikes my imperfect offerings during this time is welcome to find a short pier and take a long stroll.

Flowers For the Lost

I can't leave flowers
Your grave is too far away
I send thoughts of peace

Cie

In memory of Per Yngve Ohlin
January 16 1969 - April 8 1991

Today's prompt at napowrimo.net is flowers.
The team always commemorates Per on the anniversary of his suicide
It isn't very poetic, but fuck any of y'all fuckers who think it's cool to display the picture of his body following the suicide. Bunch of disrespectful pukes.
