People, I'm going to tell you the truth, I don't think I can squeeze many more words out of me today. I wrote a bit over 3000 in Captain Sammy's Treasure. I didn't do any poetry yesterday, so I squashed three April PAD Challenge prompts together today and finally wrote that contentious six-word poem! How ya like me now?
I also used the prompt requesting a touch poem
And this month's final Twofer Tuesday prompt, which asks for a dream and/or reality poem.
So, how the hell did I squeeze three prompts into one poem?
I wish I could show you, but then I couldn't submit it for publication, so I'll have to tell you.
I gave the poem the title Dream or Reality.
The poem refers to a cold touch. Is this touch happening in waking reality, or is it a nightmare?
And that's how I did it!
I may write a second poem today or I may not. In the meantime, I'm going to get dinner going.
