Where in Cyberspace is OctPoWriMo? Plus Other Beginning of the Month Blather

This was my face when I went to the OctPoWriMo site and got a blank page.

This will be the first year since 2013 that I haven't taken part in OctPoWriMo.

I could run my own version like I did with the 30 Days of Haiga, but unless the site comes back from the grave, I think I will instead concentrate on editing The Wizard's Key. Yes, I'm still working on editing The Wizard's Key. How dare you insinuate that I'm slow just because Ketil and Yitzy's Adventure in the Xura Dream House was released in 2019 and The Wizard's Key was finished in 2020 but I'm still editing it.

I'll check again tomorrow, but at the moment it looks like this may be the first October in 9 years where I'm not participating in a month-long poetry challenge.

Unfortunately, it looks like the October Spooky Writing Challenge may be a no-show this year too.

I will be submitting Lucina Entombed, a story I completed at the end of 2020, to Dragon Soul Press for potential publication in their Union anthology.

Dragon Soul Press has ongoing anthology openings, so if that sort of thing really is your bag, Baby, be sure to check them out.

    1. I'll be back next year then. I'm up to my ass in alligators right now doing NaNoHellMo/the November PAD Challenge. Sorry I missed it!

We love comments, with three caveats.
Be cool, Fool.
Don't be rude, Dude.
Don't be a prick, Slick.
That's all, Saul.
I try to get comments published as quickly as possible. I don't always reply to comments on my blog, but I do try to visit as many people as possible when I participate in blog hops and I share links where possible to Twitter, Facebook, Pinterest, and such so others can discover your work. I do read and appreciate your comments.
