The True Light


We should share kindness
Not suppress others through hate
Hate extinguishes

Inspired by the Carpe Diem Haiku prompt, and the distressing recent news of Buddhist attacks on Muslims in Burma. The actions of these people goes against everything Buddhism stands for.

      I've had a few "friends" who seemed to delight in making me feel bad. They're no longer in my circle, but it took me a long time to realize that I'd be better off without them.

      The world would be better off if people could contain their hateful impulses. Sadly, this does not seem to be happening any time soon.
