Camera Critters #590 + Saturday's Critters #308 + Shadow Shot Sunday + Not So Silent Sunday + Sunday Selections #454: Haibun for a Sea Skeleton

I have written a Haibun in honor of this creature on this not-so-silent Sunday:

There are all kinds of wild shadows and reflections happening in this photo. The prehistoric water denizen swims eternally in an ethereal sea as creatures from its future marvel at its skeleton and wonder about its life.

you swim forever
a ghost in the twilight sea
only bones remain

Yes, I know I'm breaking the strict Silent Sunday rules, but I need to tell this story.
Once upon a time, there was a fierce vampire deer with scary sharp teeth.
The only problem was, it was so tiny and cute that nobody was scared of it.
The end.
I also created a graphic for the Sunday Selections blog hop. You don't have to credit me for it. I got the image from Pixabay, and it is free to use. The original artist is Jonas Svidras.
I have a Mister Linky for Silent Sunday, if you would like to share your photos there as well.
