How I love these creatures that both sting and bring such sweetness... They are indeed nature's paintbrush in so many ways! Wonderful haiku and it is great to have you in this circle of small words!
ReplyDeleteI think I like them a little better here in Colorado than I did in New Mexico. As a child in New Mexico, we had a neighbor who kept bees. He'd get them all riled up without warning anyone that he was going to be messing with them and I got stung. Then when I went inside crying, my father warned me that he'd give me something to cry about if I didn't shut up. I never understood that particular saying. I wouldn't have been crying if I didn't have something to cry about!
DeleteI do love that you shared Rebecca's photos and write your own haiku with it, which is beautiful! Have a nice weekend, love from the Netherlands!
ReplyDeleteThank you. I didn't really understand how it works. I work with a lot of photo prompts and thought it was one of those. Then I saw that the other participants were bringing their own photos. Oops!
DeleteYour blog is a riot. Or maybe it isnt you? Very refreshing. Thanks for waking me up this Saturday morning.
ReplyDeleteOh, that's by no means the worst thing I've been called. I'm a riot at best. Hot mess is probably more apt. Thanks for visiting.
