I get bored with people who take contrarian attitudes toward everything, trumpeting their dislike for anything others enjoy. Sure, there's plenty of popular stuff that I think is absolute garbage, but I don't hold that opinion because it's popular. Rather, I wonder why garbage tends to become popular.
If I like something, I like it regardless of how many other people hold the same opinion. Pumpkin spice is one of those things. I liked it before it became trendy, and I still like it. I'm not going to bleat about my hatred of pumpkin spice, pretending I'm just too cool to enjoy something because other people also like it. I'm too old for that kind of nonsense. It seems like a damn waste of time.
