For The Ones That No One Sees

Photoshop art by The Real Cie
"In The Silence Of His Mind"

Nobody hears you
You're the one nobody knows
Speak up anyway

There may be someone
Who needs to hear what you say
Whose life you may save

Love,
Dolly

For Mal, who saved Cie in spite of being the quiet guy in the background
and for Cie, who thinks nobody hears what she has to say
It's worth saying anyhow
Someone may be listening

Imaginary Garden With Real Toads

Notes:
I know there's one of the moderators at Imaginary Garden With Real Toads who hates the Haiku form. To you I apologize for choosing to use that form. I chose it because it reins me in and stops me from becoming too terribly maudlin, which I have a tendency to do with poetry.
I don't believe this is a real Haiku anyway, as it's my understanding that real Haiku has something to do with nature. In any case, I'm fairly sure I'm not a real poet. I'm just a kooky old broad who writes poetry sometimes!

  1. I think many times there are people listening to what we have to say... maybe we just have to show it more. Thank you for sharing this.

    1. Thank you, Bjorn. I know that sometimes I read a piece and don't know quite what to say so I say nothing. Perhaps I should at least acknowledge the effort by the person who wrote the piece. Thanks as always for visiting. :-)

  3. Invisible, soundless perhaps to many, but to the one who needs to see and hear you possibly may be a savior. Great encouragement.

    1. Exactly. No-one's voice is worthless. We just have to endeavor to use our voice for good.
      Thanks for visiting! :-)

  4. I like it, Dolly. There's a song that says what you are saying here, "People need people." I've read a little of Cie's writing. She is good!!!

We love comments, with three caveats.
Be cool, Fool.
Don't be rude, Dude.
Don't be a prick, Slick.
That's all, Saul.
I try to get comments published as quickly as possible. I don't always reply to comments on my blog, but I do try to visit as many people as possible when I participate in blog hops and I share links where possible to Twitter, Facebook, Pinterest, and such so others can discover your work. I do read and appreciate your comments.
